must e xport it to the workspace in order to reflect t hese changes in the
Simulink diagram.
Converting Between Continuous and Discrete
Models
The Root Locus Design GUI can be applied to either discrete or
continuous-time systems, and you can convert between the two types of
systemsat any time during thedesign process. However,the designmodel and
compensator must both be either continuous or discrete.
To obt ain the discrete equivalent of your current compensator design, select
Convert Model/Compensator from the Tools menu.
